ASCEND is only able to carry out its misison thanks to the generosity of you. The smallest donation can make all the difference in the world. Financial contributions are the key to success of any non-profit organization. We have a unique opportunity to leverage funds through our in-country volunteers and our 5-year financial model so your donations are maximized. Every dollar Ascend receives is multiplied through matching contributions from local businesses, foreign governments, and community recipients. For example, the typical cost of a finished school is between $25,000 and $50,000. A donation of $7,500 towards construction of a school can be leveraged to completion because of our matching contributions. Ascend's ability to stretch your resources ensures that the community recipients and beneficiaries commit to the project, and that they will follow through to sustain the projects to completion. Over 90% of charitable donations given to Ascend are directly distributed to programs. This makes it possible for management and fundraising costs to be kept to a minimum.
